If my agency can make me pay back all the money for my insurance coverage while I was on medical leave....?

What do I do? I had job burnout and took family medical leave on April 12th. Our agency secures our job for 12 weeks without pay. I continued to receive pays since I had 13weeks of sick time accumulated. Those pays also included my health/dental/optical insurance. I pay $25 a pay and my agency pays the rest. I was told that If I do not return to the agency after the family medical leave I MAY have to pay back the insurance that my agency provided (approx. $1,200.) What do I do? Should I return for one day than quit? Should I not return at all and take a chance? AND, when I quit, can I get unemployment because I am quitting do to the high stress that my agency caused? I have to call my agency by tomorrow. Please help.

If my agency can make me pay back all the money for my insurance coverage while I was on medical leave....?
Returning for one day and then quitting could solve the problem, but you can't get unemployment benefits if you quit. But hey, you aren't getting them now, so it shouldn't make much of a difference.

I think "taking a chance" wouldn't work, because they would most likely go after you for it.
Reply:If you had 13 weeks of paid sick time as a benefit, you should also be entitled to your normal benefits during that time, and therefore you shouldn't have to pay. It's unlikely you'll be eligible for unemployment when you quit, unless you can prove that you were not suited for the job (the agency hired you for a job you couldn't reasonably perform).

What happens if my employer has an ineligible person on our group health/dental insurance?

What if this is revealed? I don't want to loose my coverage because of their poor decisions.

How much does it cost to have a small cavity filled without dental insurance and will they treat me without it

I think I might have a cavity and don't make enough money to qualify for public assistance health care and can't afford a private healthcare plan!! What in the hell are people like me supposed to do? I refuse to pay $300 a year for a healthplan I might never use when $300 is a large sum of money for me. My workplace is too small to afford to offer it's employees health coverage either but I love my job. Is it fair that I have to choose between a depressing job and living in a cheap-rent ghetto and knowing I can go to the doctor when I'm sick? All I want to know is where do I go and what can I do??

Call several dentists and ask how much it will be to have a check up, cleaning, and a cavity filled. It'll probably be $40 for the checkup, $40 for the cleaning, and $60-$80 for the cavity.
Reply:Go to a dental school - sometimes 50% or more less. Report It

Does anyone know how much would it cost to get a dental implant?

I do not have insurance coverage as the implant will be replacing a baby tooth

Does anyone know how much would it cost to get a dental implant?
I don't know your age but usually it's not recommended that you replace a baby tooth with an inplant as that you should get an adult tooth to replace it unless told otherwise by your dentist. If it is indeed an adult tooth it does depend where you go. I believe you have to see and Oral Surgeon to put in implant. The General Dentist does the crown. Unless things have changed. Your looking anywhere between $1000 to $3000 depending on where you go.
Reply:depends on the dentist, but ususally around $2500
Reply:near me they start at $2000

Does anyone know where i can go for dental work?
HELLO SASSY,

DENTAL SCHOOLS DO NOT DO FREE DENTISTRY, BUT THE COSTS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN IN PRIVATE PRACTICE.

SPEAK WITH THE ACTUAL DENTIST HE MAY BE WILLING TO DO WORK IN TRADE FOR DENTAL WORK.
Reply:try the dentist. lots of times they'll let you pay in installments instead of all at once. just ask. also, some larger cities have dental colleges and they'll do work for free so they can get practice.
