How do I get individual dental coverage in Wisconsin?

I'm the only employee and it's very difficult to find a place that offers individual coverage not just discounts. Are there groups I can join to create group coverage?

How do I get individual dental coverage in Wisconsin?
I'm in WI and not sure what groups you can join but my DH and I are in the same position. We spoke with our dentist who happens to be a close friend. His advice was to skip it. Any individual policy worth purchasing is so expensive that you're better off going self-pay. You may incur huge expenses one year but next to none in another. We just put extra money away so we're prepared.
Reply:If you have children and your income is within the limit (which I believe is $2200/month or below), you may qualify for Badgercare. Badgercare is a state program that provides health care coverage for uninsured families, including dental care. Go to Badgercare's website for more details (listed below) or call 1-800-362-3002.

If you're not eligible for Badgercare, you could look into Humana Dental (they offer individuals and family plans).

I thought Blue Cross Blue Shield of WI offered some form of dental insurance but upon further research, it's not for individuals.... :-(

If you can't get insurance, you may benefit from a dental discount program. Afterall, a discount program will most likely be quite a bit cheaper than paying full price for services. I've listed a dental discount link below which I have found helpful in the past.

Anyway, hope any of this helps. Good luck!
Reply:I concur with the first poster. I had an individual policy--and it cost more than paying out of pocket. If you want to check into prices call Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Delta Dental.

Our DDS offers the credit care card. Basically a "health care" credit card, where they pay your dental bill and you can pay them off in X months interest free. But if you don't pay it off in those months--interest is higher--but not as high as many dental offices charge (12%).
Reply:Why do you say it is dificult to get individual dental coverage?

Just go to eHealthInsurance, put in your zip code

and choose among the dental plan options.

Any suggestions for dental coverage that will also cover periodontists?

Is there any dental coverage under a federal program such as Medicare?

My 82 year old mom needs new dentures and I don't know of any coverage for it.

Is there any dental coverage under a federal program such as Medicare?
Contact health and welfare they should be able to give you help or advice on where to get it. Good luck!
Reply:basic dental coverage is available to people =sorry ,but dentures aren't =you can however contact =the Lions Club=they will often help people out financially, especially seniors
Reply:not according to the medicare handbook Medicare%26amp;you2008
Reply:It really depends on what particular coverage she has. If she has suplimental coverage, like Wellcare, she may just. It's fairly new that plans have begun offering it.
Reply:There are also discount dental programs out there that offer discounts on the out-of-pocket costs she would endure at a dentists office. You can contact me regarding a discount dental program that fits her needs. This is not insurance, but a program that offers discounts on general and specialized medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, and pharmacy services. My website is www.mybenefitsplus.com/trhonda2000, you can request more information from the site.

Hope this helps,

Military health & dental coverage (for life?)?

If someone joins the military for only 4-6 years (as opposed to serving 20 years and retiring), will they still receive full health and dental insurance for the rest of their life?

Someone told me this was true, but I thought you had to retire after 20 years to keep those bennies. Anyone know?

Military health %26amp; dental coverage (for life?)?
NO, you wouldn't receive them for that period of time. Even after retiring at 20 years, the benefits aren't that great. You can go to the VA, but the waiting list is huge and the care is usually fair. You also have to pay insurance (TriCare) when you get out for you and the family. Also, active duty, you have to pay dental insurance and they don't cover the cost of glasses or anything like that for family members.
Reply:no, only if they are injured and it's the military fault. but the military will only cover the injury, and nothing else.
Reply:You are entitled to certain benefits through the Veterans' Administration if you serve at least one enlistment of 4-6 years and receive an honorable discharge. Check out http://www.va.gov to find out what's available.
Reply:Nope. You lose them when you get out.
Reply:No, you have to retire to get full health care benefits. The only possible exception MIGHT be if you were seriously wounded or developed a catastrophic illness that made it impossible for you to work again. Even then, depending on the circumstances, you might not get full coverage.

BTW, even those of us who have retired have to pay co-pays and not everything is covered either. Still, it's a darn good health plan.
Reply:no, you only get medical and dental benefits for life if you are a retiree, which means you served 20 years or more. if you only serve 4-6 years the benefits stop when you are discharged from the military. it would be nice though.
Reply:Our insurance through the Military is called TriCare, and of course active duty members and their families receive free heath care, and if stationed in the States, the family members have some coverage for dental, but active duty member receives it free. (The dental is only free to family members overseas, and it's the only time we are treated at a military dental clinic)

After we retire, (My husband will retire in two years, and that will have give him 22 years in) we will have the option to continue with TriCare, but we'll have pay for it. It's still going to be cheaper then any other private insurance. For instance, we are a family of six, and it will cost us 400.00 a year to cover our whole family. We will be allowed to use the Military hospitals, but as long as we can find a civilian doctor that accepts TriCare, we can see them. It will also cove our prescriptions, but it's a very small co-payment compared to to what you would pay if you had no coverage on prescriptions.

Dental coverage/insurance?

I need a root canal immediatly. I also have no unsurance and it wont be available through work until a the end of October. Can I outsource any insurance that would take effect immediatly? Are there any other options to avoiding thousands of dollars in cost if I get my dental work now?

Dental coverage/insurance?
charter dental insurance
Reply:You can get a pulpotomy or pulpectomy treatment now and then have the endodontic procedure done when your insurance kicks in...

Best of Luck~
Reply:It will likely be hard to get on to insurance with an existing problem - they will look at your prior history to see when it was diagnosed and may reject it on that basis. If you have medical insurance, you can look closely at your policy to see if they might cover some dental/surgical work (some policies cover certain dental procedures if they have medical impacts). A second option is to look for a look university with a dental school - they often provide the same services with supervised trainee dentists at substantially lower costs or sliding fee scales. Good luck.
Reply:I have a simple to use dental plan that includes no waiting period. It provide great discounts on all dental procedures, including root canals. I recently had a root canal done and I saved close to 60%. You can even look up dental providers in your area on the website:

Low income dental coverage in Washington State?

Hello,

I am a FT college student who also works FT that doesn't have a lot of money. I don't have medical or dental, but am in need of dental work (cavities, root canal, etc.) and even if I could afford the insurance plans out there, they don't cover much if anything.

I have searched the internet over and over but can't find anything that leads me to a phone number for low income dental care for people like me. I keep finding stuff that states that the programs exist here, but no names or contact information.

Low income dental coverage in Washington State?
fwef
Reply:Contact your local or state dental association and and see if there are any dentists who provide free or reduced cost care for low-income, disabled or senior patients.

Call your local health department and ask about health centers that provide dental care for free or on a sliding scale.

Go to a dental school, if there is one near you, for reduced costs.

Check http://www.toothwoman.net to see if low-cost or free dental services are available near you.

Check http://bphc.hrsa.gov and choose "Find a Health Center" to see if there is a low-cost clinic near you.

Check http://www.nfdh.org/DDS.html to see if your state has a "Donated Dental Services" program. D.D.S. is designed to locate dentists who will give free care to patients who are financially compromised due to medical problems. Not all states have D.D.S. programs.
Reply:Donated Dental Services is alive and well in Washington. Also, University of Washington School of Dentistry performs services at a reduced rate.

Call a few dentists from the Yellow Pages. Most of them have a list of low-cost or sliding scale clinics. I know I do, and I'm glad to take the time out of my busy day to give someone in your position a phone number or two.
Reply:try a dental school! Most of the community colleges should know of some.

Im looking for a full coverage dental plan one that can be used right away?

does anyone know of any individual full coverage dental plans i need to find one asap im not looking for a discount dental plan im looking for a full coverage plan ...thanks

Im looking for a full coverage dental plan one that can be used right away?
try Western Dental...it is your only hope.
Reply:i forgot..ugh ...you can also call 1-800-DENTIST they will help you find a dentist that meets your needs! to the idiot who said he is a "dentist"..he should be turned into Y! I talked to my Dentist regarding his "answer" and he said the answerer is a "yahoo!" Report It

Reply:actually you have no hope. they all have waiting periods, missing teeth clauses, and previously existing conditions.

cash and dental floss are the best dental plan out there.
Reply:You won't be able to get a hold of a full coverage dental plan that can be used right away. There are waiting periods with them.

You need to get the discount dental plan and at least use it until you can get what you are looking for.

The best one out there that fits the bill is AmeriPlan.

You can get their discount dental plan online for $11.95 a month.
Reply:Tom is correct, there is no way to get immediate coverage for dental. Think like the insurance company: why should they give away money? You KNOW you are going to the dentist and yet they have no premiums.

YOU are also correct that dental discount plans should be avoided. They are basically "selling" you a list of dentists who are willing to work at a greatly reduced fee. Remember that something has got to give, and either the dentist will try to "sell up" to non-covered procedures, or you will not receive the same time, effort, or quality service that full-price patients will receive. No dental practice could stay in business writing off 50% or more of their fees - there just isn't that much proft to give up.

Also, do some research. Ameriplan and others are work-at-home, internet businesses, unregulated by any agency. If you get ripped off, all you have is a so-called guarentee worth nothing.
Reply:No. Dental plans are recieved from an employer (where you work) IF they offer dental insurance. Most employers do not offer it and you probably cant find any individual plan anywhere.

If you need discounted dental prices visit a local dental college, search online.

I have a friend who has no insurance & needs emergency dental work. Can he apply thru the state for coverage?

My friend has had some really bad tooth aches lately. He had a crown and it fell out. Now he needs his tooth taken out but has no insurance. How does he go about getting emergency dental coverage thru the state (MI)?

I have a friend who has no insurance %26amp; needs emergency dental work. Can he apply thru the state for coverage?
No. If he already has the problem there's no way the state is going to cover it because they know they'll have to pay for it. Sorry!
Reply:You may want to check with local community colleges, the dental students there can perform the same tasks as a dentist for a fraction of the cost.

Good Luck to your friend..there is nothing more painful than a toothache.
Reply:If it is a true emergency then he should go to the ER and have it treated. They will apply for assistance through the government while he is in the hospital.

I can tell you now he will get the minimum of everything. They do not put on crowns. They do not repair anything. They pull teeth. (Ask me...). But if it is infected there's not much he can do, unless he can find money.
Reply:Trying any state programs will take some time. You may want to try a dental clinic if your friend has Med-care or something similar, the clinics will take this type of coverage and do have sliding scales for payment. But again the dental clincs are booked months in advance so it could take some time to get an appointment. You could try to see if Dentist take CARE CREDIT which is a like a dental credit card. If you can pay off the balance within 12 months it is ZERO % APR or you can opt to have an extended payment plan of up to 60 months with an APR of 11.9% (which is lower APR than most credit cards). If your friend has low or bad credit they could get a co-applicant. But by all means get to a dentist ASAP. If your friend is having a tooth ache it could be bad decay into the tooth needing a Root Canal and since the tooth is in a weak state it will need a crown over the Root Canal tooth. For the tooth that lost the crown, it could mean there is so much decay under the existing crown that it has "eaten" away the "glue" . But get to see a dentist with a FULL exam and FULL x-rays so the dentist can diagnosis ALL problems. Some Dentists will give up to 50% off new patients. But make sure to get a FULL exam AND FULL MOUTH x-rays (not just bite-wings also called BWX). Hope all goes well.

We have better coverage for dental insurance than most insurance companies, because we aren't insurance. We offer dental, prescriptions, vision and chiropractic for only $20/mo and we cover just about everything. Our coverage is up to 86%! Feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions.

Your friend could always enroll and get his ID #. The approved dentist should take it. I used the prescription plan before I got my membership card. The doctor generally just needs a couple of numbers to process the info.

It's good to have a plan, not just for emergencies.

Is it possible for a person on workman's comp to get dental coverage from the Carrier?

I have no insurance, but the coverage for the injury I recieved at the work place, which is for a lower back injury. The carrier does provide me with a bi-weekly check, but I discovered that the dental work I need will cost over $3000 dollars. I also would appreciate it if someone out there can also answer this other question: I have recently moved from New York to Pennslyvania, and finding a doctor to continue treatment has been difficult. Thus, I have been traveling to and from the doctor's in NY. to continue treatment as well as benefits. My question is it possible to have the carrier pay for a rental because my car will not last if I drive back and forth for once a month. Please help me out!

Is it possible for a person on workman's comp to get dental coverage from the Carrier?
Workers' Comp insurance is for injuries that you sustain from an accident while working or traveling to and from your job. If the injuries sustain effected you dental work, then possibly yes, if the injury was soft tissue to another part of your body, then no.

With regards to your car, if your car was damaged within the scope of your employment, you would have to check with your auto insurance carrier to ascertain coverage for a rental.

If you receive a settlement from your Workers' Comp Claim, you can use the money any way you please.

Do I really have to wait A YEAR for dental coverage?

I just finished 90 days at Walgreen's %26amp; doing my benefits, they said I have to wait A YEAR to be employed for dental coverage. (my medical is already done %26amp; I have a card) Is this legal because this is BULLSH*T!!!

Do I really have to wait A YEAR for dental coverage?
I you do, it is just the way that your company works. I got dental, medical, vision, vacation all on day 1 of employment with my company. They suck!
Reply:yes, and be prepared that once your dental insurance kicks in that it may take another 2 years for them to cover major work.

They may cover two cleanings per year and one set of x-rays, but trust me, this will not cover all of your costs.

In all honesty, dental insurance is crap. You are better off putting money into an account, so that if you need dental work, you will have some saved.
Reply:Oh yeah, Dental Covrage takes A LOT of work to do all the paper work.
Reply:It may be BULLSH*T right now, but when you start using it you will be glad you have it. I went for years without dental coverage for myself and my family. I finally have it now through my employer, and while it covers only $1100.00 per year per person, it sure as hell is better than nothing! I understand your frustration, but remember, many retail stores don't offer any medical benefits.....period.

Do teachers get benefits like vision, dental coverage.?

Do teachers get benefits like vision, dental coverage.?
You'd have to check with your local school district. Most do provide health care of some kind. Cost and avaialbility vary I'd imagine. I live in Centeral Florida and we have it. I pay extra for vision and dental but the general medical coverage is provided.
Reply:Yes
Reply:not in india,unfortunately they don't
Reply:Generally, teachers belong to unions and are considered state employees as far as benefits go - which means they get some great perks. I don't know about chiropractic coverage, but the teachers I know get all the rest of the stuff.

What is the best dental coverage in Canada?

I live in B.C. and am only working part-time as a young adult. What would the best coverage be for dental or extended health insurrance, etc. I've looked at coverme.com and Bluecross, are there any others or are one of them better than the other? I have a chipped tooth, so I wouldn't mind having none of the "you have to wait for a three-months no claims period" stuff.

What is the best dental coverage in Canada?
In Canada, you're better off with a pair of pliers from the hardware store.
Reply:I'm sorry to say that most insurance companies will have a 90 day grace period, which is a pain. I would check out Great West Life, Manulife and Sunlife, I find that they have the most comprehensive coverage. It all depends on how much work you need and how much you are willing to spend a year on dental coverage.

Does Medicaid provide any type of dental coverage?

I am a student and have a family. My daughter is under Medicaid and I am wondering if there is any basic dental coverage typically for children with Medicaid and I am also wondering for myself. Is there any adult Medicaid that covers dental care or any govt. programs that do offer dental care?

Thank you for your help.

Does Medicaid provide any type of dental coverage?
hi yes this i can answer for you and a heart beat ok i have a 16 year old son that is on medicaid all his life ok look on the back of your medicaid paper in it will have a phone number on the back for you ok and all so medacaid will provide you with transportation all so to the denist 1-877-847-8377 is the nmber that can help you out for your daughter ok i was glad to help you out with your problem here

medical transprotation-1-877-633-8747 for the denist

just look on the back of your medicaid paper on the left hand side on the back ok and you will have alot of numbers you can call ok in o'yeah your child can be 18 and under to get her teeth done for free at no cost to you
Reply:Medicaid coverage is handled differently from state to state. The best thing to do is to contact your Local medicaid office to find out what is covered. When My children where on medicaid they had 100% dental coverage on all things and it was very easy to find a dentist that would take medicaid. However generally only Pregnant and Disabled adults get dental coverage from medicaid. And finding a dentist that would take medicaid what so hard ( for adults).

Can I get health/dental coverage for my stepson?

His father had coverage on him, but his ex-wife moved out of state and couldn't use the insurance, so she said she would cover him. That was less than two weeks ago, he's been covered by his dad since the day he was born. Well, we've got him this summer and he told me the other day that he has never seen a dentist! He'll be 8 tomorrow!

My husband just started a new job and he won't be able to get health/dental insurance for 90 days. I've got coverage at my job, it's a lot better than my husbands, and cheaper per week. I was just wondering if I would be able to add him to my insurance so he can see a dentist in our state while he's here visiting.

Can I get health/dental coverage for my stepson?
Some insurances will cover out-of-state. Are you absolutely sure your step-son wouldn't be covered when he came to visit you? I would call his insurance company to find out.

Starting your step-son on a new policy may not be that hard to sign him up, you have to check with your employer to see how often they allow you to add/take off someone from your policy. Some policies allow changes only once a year.

Some insurance companies also (once your step-son is enrolled) may have a 6 month waiting period before anything other than a cleaning can be done. Find out all these things before you enroll him. It may be easier this year to pay out-of-pocket and then enroll him next year especially if he ends up not needing a lot of work to be done (you may be paying more for the policy than just paying for a few procedures).

Unfortunately some people don't go to the dentist until they have a problem, which creates a vicious cycle... you are doing a good thing by taking your step-son now and instilling good habits. It may mean the difference in him having all his teeth when he gets older.
Reply:Ask Human Resources today, or call the number on the back of your insurance card. My insurance covers stepchildren if you/your spouse are responsible for their insurance.
Reply:If you are his legal mother now you have to consult your present health care insurance co and put his name as beneficial person. If approval then he will be covered.Your marrage status has been change you should inform human resource of your co.

Who to call about improving the Postal employees dental coverage?

We have the worst dental coverage there is.My husbanbd works for the Post office,we have Blue cross blue shield and they cover basically nothing and what they do cover they cover by maybe $12! We tried to find a separate dental insurance but it isn't offered anywhere, just dental rebates. Why does the Post office not offer a better dental plan? We had Blue cross before with a different employer and they covered almost all except for crowns and if we did pay a part it was nominal. It is really the Post office that decides the contract and coverage for their employees. Is there any hope that I can contact anyone to ask for improvement?

Duel Dental Coverage. How does it work?

My husband and I both work for the same company and both have Cigna dental coverage. I am on his plan and he is on mine. Does this mean I can use up my coverage for the year and then use his?

Does anyone know how this works?

Duel Dental Coverage. How does it work?
Your carrier is prime for you and his carrier is prime for him. That means that they will first bill your carrier and then his for the balance....and vice versa for him. There are, however, lots of clauses that limit or exclude coverage on the secondary plan. Each policy is different. It basically depends on how much money your employer was willing to spend on your insurance premiums. If it is major treatment I strongly suggest you have the doc's office preauthorize for you. Mind you, this doesn't guarantee they'll follow what they said (read the fine print) but you have a much better chance of knowing where you stand. Good luck. You're still better off than folks with only one crumby carrier.
Reply:It depends on your coverage. Your policy will be primary for you and his will be secondary for you and vice versa. However, if you have something called non-duplication of benefits, then generally the 2nd insurance will not "duplicate" benefits that would be covered by the 1st insurance. For example, assuming you both have the same coverage, if a procedure is covered at 80% and your co-pay is 20%, the 1st insurance will pay 80%. Because the 2nd one also covers the procedure at 80%, it will not pay anything because the 80% normally covered had been paid by the 1st insurance. The 2nd insurance will not just pay the remaining 20% of the procedure. However, if for example each coverage has $1000 max benefits, once the max has been reached on the 1st ins., then maybe the 2nd ins. will start to pay. Of course, you both work for the same company so sometimes the same insurance will not allow 2 exact coverage for one person.

Dental Coverage question?

Can you get Dental Coverage working part time at Timmy's? I know in the US you can get health and dental coverage by working part time a Starbucks?

Dental Coverage question?
Yes you can, but you have to be a full-time employee and work there a minimum of six months before you can access their benefit plans.

Dental plan coverage?

Just a quick general knowledge question. Someone at work here is questioning our dental plan becuase she needs a root canal. I personally rarely use the health or dental coverage. I was under the impression that most dental plans paid a percentage of the cost of dental work up to a predetermined out of pocket amount for the insured. For example, the insured may have to pay 60% of the cost of dental work during the year up to a total out of pocket expense of $2,500, after that , all is covered. Someone else at work is saying it is the opposite. The insurance co. will pay their percentage up to a predetermined amount and then it's all on the insured. How are most policies structured?

Dental plan coverage?
O.k.,this is how dental insurances work.Usually they separate the services on:Preventative care(usually covered at 100% with no deductible);Basic care(usually covered at 80%) and Major care(usually covered at 50 or 60%).If you need any services that fall under the Basic and Major category then you will usually pay yearly deductible and on top of that the percentage that it is not paid by your insurance. There is a certain amount the insurance will pay per year, for example from $1000 to $2000 or more.Once they pay all that it means that you have reached your yearly maximum and if you decide to have any more dental work done after that ,the cost will be out of your pocket, but if wait for your new benefit year ,then you will have another 1000 or 2000 dollars available.

This information is general, because I have seen insurances with no deductible, who cover everything 100% or some who have unlimited coverage.Very important is also to make sure that the dentist you are going to visit is in the network with your insurance, cause if he is not,you might not be covered or might have to pay more out of pocket!Well,I hope I was helpful,I deal with dental insurances all day at work,so you can trust me!:))

Reply:Mine pays a percentage after a deductible, but I'm not aware that there is an out of pocket limit. They pay all of regular visits. I know why medical plan works the way you describe. It wouldn't surprise me if a dental plan worked the way your coworker describes.

Just for reference.
Reply:Most plans pay 100% of preventive. Then you usually have a deductible then they pay a percentage of the fees up to a max usually 1,000 to 1,500. If your max is reached you are responsible for the balance. I work for an oral surgeon and we ask 20% the day of surgery due to most insurances pay 80% until the max is met. You also need to make sure you go to someone in the network or the benefits will be less or not at all.

Always call the insurance co to find out what they will pay because it is the insured responsibility.

Hope this helps!!

Dental Coverage in M.D.(Dentist Help)?

I have health coverage through my job but theres no dental coverage. I really need to have my wisdom teeth pulled b/c there coming in and I don't have much room left. I also need some bonding work done I'm sure. On average how much does it cost to go for a checkup to the dentist? Does anyone know what kind of dental coverage I can get? If there is a dentist who can let me know what kind of money am I looking at I would greatly apperciate it. Also I maybe and if not may soon be pregnant and I heard you can have dental work done but not until the second trimester and for them to take x-rays when your pregnant you have to wear a lead jacket to protect the baby. Is this true?

Dental Coverage in M.D.(Dentist Help)?
SINCE THE COSTS DO VARY FROM DENTIST TO DENTIST IT'S UNREALISTIC TO GIVE YOU A QUOTE, BUT AS FAR AS FINANCES ARE CONCERNED, YOUR MOST RESONABLE COST WILL BE IN A DENTAL SCHOOL SETTING. BEING PREGNANT OR NOT SHOULD NOT STOP YOU FROM HAVING APPROPRIATE CARE.
Reply:AmeriPlan has a cheap dental discount program, maybe you can check there.

Dental Coverage in Pennsylvania?

I live in pa and I need dental coverage. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom. But I have recently decided I am going to start looking for a job. I am in a common law marriage. My significant other and I are going to terminate that in a few months (long story) once we get that much extra saved up. We do live together. He works, but his work does not have much of a dental plan and they didn't opt for common law coverage when they signed with their insurance companies. But because we are common law right now, I do not qualify for medical assistance. We are paying off a loan until about the end of september so we are basically living paycheck to paycheck with a tiny bit extra just in case something come up. Anyway, my point is that I think my only other option is to purchase dental individually. Even if I found a job soon, I will have to wait at least 3 months til I can buy their coverage. So, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy coverage and how much it will cost me.

Dental coverage?

my boyfriend is in desperate need of dental work. he needs surgery to aline his jaw, and crowns, and fillings. you name it the boy needs it. its killing me to watch his teeth wear away. he wont brush them because they are too painful to touch. the problem is he isnt on any kind of dental plans, since his ever so nice parents kicked them off of theirs. he is 19 years old, and cant get coverage through his work, and ive searched for other plans but they wont cover him until he is 21. does anyone know what is the best way to get him dental insurance. im willing to pay whatever it takes to get this done for him, but he needs aprox 10-15000 worth of work so a good plan would realy help. thank you for any ideas. it would really help.

Yes--I do. As a matter of fact there is a discounted Health Benefits program that he can get. The dental plan is only $19.95 per month and with it he also gets vision, prescription and chiropractic. There is no limit on visits or services. ongoing dental problems are accepted, except dental and orthodontic treatments in progress. Instant savings. No age limit No paperwork and no waiting period he can use his card as soon as he gets it. He can even go to a specialist if needed and he can change dentists. Need more info please contact me.

Good luck!
Reply:The first thing your boyfriend should do is see a dentist, have a full mouth series of x-rays and have a full new patient examination, just to see where all the problems are. Depends where u live, but here in Canada, there are private insurances, but they are very expensive and the coverage is pretty shitty. He can get dental work done at the dental school, but the appointments are long, very long, because every step the students make, the dental instructor has to check it. He has to be "accepted" as an interesting patient. The fees are pretty cheap, just to cover the materials. He can get a good cleaning by the dental hygiene students as well, for free, or just a few bucks. Is there any way u can speak with the parents and tell them the issue, so maybe he can get back on theirs? Also, many insurances won't cover a child if they are on their own and working. Many will cover a full time student up to the age of 25. He has to get dental work or he will lose all his teeth due to periodontal disease. Good luck with things.
