Dental Charity? Please Help?

I am in desperate need to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I have some cracked teeth due to the wisdom teeth pushing them. I don't have any dental coverage just some kind of dental discount plan that hardly covers it at all. I was told it would cost me $1,300 for the four teeth plus whatever other charges the dentist will charge. I can't afford it right now due to a large hostiptal bill. It's become very hard to try and balance everything out and to try to save up for it and the rate I'm going it could be a year. My state(MD) doesn't offer anything at the health department and the school is just as bad plus I've heard some bad experiences from the school. I'm going to a dentist in a week who was really good about the price he'll charge me. It's only $85 for the exam, x-rays, and a cleaning but even that it took me a month to save up for. Is there any charities that anyone can tell me about. I don't need another dental discount plan I can't afford to pay for it. Please only serious response

Try a dental school. They often allow advanced students to work on patients (with supervision) at no cost to the patient.

Reply:Well, it all depends on where you live.. I know here in AZ there are dental clinics - try researching it on the Web.
Reply:Are you sure your insurance does not cover this,as it should be considered surgery.


Check with your dentist office for they will call the insurance company.


This type dental work falls under a different category than just dental work.
