I will start off by saying I live in Ontario. In the past few years I have had some pretty heavy damage to my teeth because of a car hitting me (no insurance %26amp; can't find)and an assault. I also have to take a medication for life that is for epilepsy. All of these things have affected my teeth with the medication affecting the gums more. Anyway I am on Assistance at the moment waiting for a decision from disability. Because of the damage I had to have 4 teeth pulled when 3 of them could have been saved but the goverment would not cover it and now I have to get back to the dentist where 1 of the teeth which is an eye tooth was knocked out but I had to go to an oral surgeon to have the root removed as well as a back one. Basically, with all of these things my teeth are very saveable and have always looked nice but I have to keep getting them yanked out because they will not cover fixing them. By the way they don't cover dentures either. I want to keep my teeth. Can anyone help info.
DOES ANYONE KNOW? I separated 4 years ago and with that lost dental coverage.?
Contact the dental school nearest you. The students always need patients to work on and the fees are very minimal.
Reply:You can also contact your local health department..many health departments in the U.S.now have dental clincs. Good luck to you. Report It
